Meeting someone with a dog on a Flexi-Lead is my worst nigthmare most not all are on mobile phones or have no idea what their dog is doing, they wonder all over peoples gardens even trying to get in the road or running at my dog, who doesn't like that sort of rude behavior. They are OK for off...
If you are worried about your dog getting loose, have you thought about a training lead one end on the collar and the other on the harness, if one fails you still have control with the other.
We haven't had Dillon done, we nearly did when he was a troublesome teenager but the vet said he would necessarily change him. So we didn't have it done, his 8 1/2 now and still intact, never regretted it.
I've just joined and thought I'd say hello, I own a 8 year old Briard boy called Dillon. He's the craziest dog but I love him.
Look forward getting to know you all.
