Hi and welcome
So what does she classify as high value? As all dogs have something that is really important..... and I don't train with treats/dog toys.
Rescue greyhound could have had its informative learning behaviour months in kennels ( rather than a family home) and might never have lived...
:):):)
Oh no.... you have terrible teenager, so 'tiny puppy mentality' with a bigger mouth and stronger teeth, who pretends they have never done any training and pushes your boundaries to the limit...they do grow up and out of it however you have a boxer ( if that is the little darling in the...
It is hard as you can only 'do' anything about your own dog, not other peoples in that immediate situation ...so make sure your own dogs obedience training is 'up to date'....so off lead will your dog recall immediately, will your own dog 'leave it' etc if not practice at home where it is...
Do what you need to do to keep your sanity, some pups are worse than others I know I had one and I really think 99.9% of owners would not have kept her ...vintage club full hide leather chair she destoyed completely in less than 30 mins while I had a bath and she had been out for 2 hours just...
Chewing is a normal behaviour, it is about chewing the right things rather than what you don't want chewed... Dogs know chewing releieves anxiety, could be anxiety of teething pain,or left alone or too much space she feels she has to 'look after' herself or one of many other things that...

Great! It sounds like you have someone who could potentially help you near by. So it is about getting the right Lab from the right breeder if that is what you have decided upon. Guide Dogs have their own breeders and breeding programme so know exactly what temperaments the pups are more likely...
Agree!
OP says the vet has tested and says it is pollen, 'however' the 'symptoms' sound more like 'ingredients in kibble' allergies and raw is more than likely to resolve that.
I think a lot of 'what you are looking for' is down to individual personality of an individual dog AND the training you are prepared to do to achieve what you want, so not 'breed' specific.
Dogs are living, thinking beings and 'breeds' do not come with a label attached to their side like a mass...
Before you part with any money at all you require a copy of the dated vets report and costs involved and if 'they decide' not to proceed with the vets recommendations you need a dated copy of the registered physiotherapists report....... not sure how they knew all this information and costs when...
If you can draw what you want, size of clip and/or ring(all brass fitting) length he will make it for you and although his leather is top quality and they are all made beautifully I would never go back to using leather as the Biothane ones are so easy to handle, they feel nice, easy clean, hard...
Yes, if I give an whole raw egg, they take it from my hand and take it outside, it also teaches dogs to have 'soft mouths' meaning they carry the egg without breaking it until they take it away and will either place it on the floor, roll it to break or drop it to break it or of course bite it (...
Yes you can feed raw/bone to a 6 month old...... my last pup I bought aged 8 weeks old, I saw the 'junk' the breeder was feeding and saw the pup pooing and it came out the same way as it went in and so changed her food immediately ( as I was not about to feed her the same junk) Not something I...
