    Yes, thank you both but have tried exactly that - putting sudocrem on as we go out of the door. Now and then, something will work for a couple of days and then we’re back to square one. Just so frustrating :mad:

    Salt water doesn’t do it for taz either. The vet said sometimes it just needs to dry out but that’s almost impossible...

    When it’s muddy, Taz gets sore between her toes. I’ve tried all sorts - washing paws in shampoo, salt, plain water, not washing paws, mushers secret wax, antiseptic creams and powders, steroid spray from the vet. I usually end up having her on antibiotics because nothing works. My lastest try...

    It’s worth a try! I know another itchy dog it’s worked wonders for. It took a couple of months to kick in. I give taz a 1000mg capsule a day - she weighs 23kg. She’s also raw fed and grain free.

    My lurcher was the same and we spent a fortune with skin vets. The breakthrough came when I started her on daily oil of evening primrose and eliminated fish oil and fish from her diet. It was a lot of trial and error and she was three before we had it sorted. Good luck

    Taz eats rabbit poo all the time - at least it’s organic. I don’t let her eat horse poo if I can help it, because it potentially could have wormer deposits.
