The local group to me (Basingstoke) are pretty friendly so I would assume most wouldn't mind if you went for a jog with them anyway :) . Why not ask; "mad dog lady wants to have a go at canicross, mind if I tag along" - or something like that :) :)

Hi all, Like many people, our back garden is very very wet at this time of year. Now add to that we have a 2 year old saluki that likes to run around it (at least twice per day) at mach 2. So currently it resembles a scene from the Battle of the Somme - or maybe just a ploughed field...

Tip: get a super king sized duvet. That way they can't go all the covers too :D

Hi, maybe take a look at Facebook for local canicross groups. From what I've found, it's not all as serious as that photo seems to make out. Basically, it's just a group of people going out for a jog with their dogs.... :)

Hi, hope you don't mind but we have a very similar issue with a young lurcher cross and I can't find how to subscribe to a post without adding a comment :) Our boy was a rescue at around 3 months after being found abandoned. He's really friendly to everyone but goes mad when he sees other dogs...
