Garden (Toxic?) plants - Advice Please!

I am not sure. Most animals are quiet sensible about what they should pick for eating or not. I have "Googled" the question and this is what I found. spring flowering bulbs toxic for dogs uk - Google Search

    Poop scope recommendation

Then maybe there should be paper bags designed for the poop collection. I remember when carrier bags were paper.

    Poop scope recommendation

Maybe it depends on what type of poo the dog produces. If it is large squidgy and very stinky type of poo, I don't think I would want to put my hand in any poop bag, no matter how thick it may be. If you are picking up the firm poo's I see no reason for a poop scoop.o_O As @JoanneF has mentioned...

Has anyone used NutriPaw ALL-ITCH & immunity treats

I would suggest that before you start trying too many remedies that you get back to "Honeys" and ask again about their products, explaining about the remaining head problem and what suggestions they may have. Everything needs to be given time to work but too many shampoos and topical skin...

    German shepherd flea problem

There are some animals that can survive being frozen for a winter season, maybe some even more. Most insects and pupae take about 3.1/2 days to be killed, so don't remove frozen items from the freezer too soon.

    German shepherd flea problem

We have had a flea problem this summer, our usual treatments were not helping much. We had to use the vet who prescribed "Advocate", after the spot on drops, one month later all fleas have disappeared. We treated the house with "Indorex Defence" in the car too, all bedding in HOT washes but NO...

    64 day pregnant dog???

The mucus sounds quiet normal for a pregnancy, that's as long as it's clear and clean with no blood. If you have just a singleton inside her there may not be the right amount of hormones to get her going into labour. Another worry is that if you have only a single puppy or two, that maybe the...

Allergy: is hypoallergenic diet really worth trying?

NO shampoo:eek:, just use plain warm water. The word "Hypoallergenic" is not worth the paper it is written on:rolleyes:

Allergy: is hypoallergenic diet really worth trying?

What makes a product "Hypoallergenic". Hypoallergenic foods are made from ingredients that are less likely to cause allergies and intolerances. It does not guarantee that the ingredients will not cause allergies and intolerances.o_O

    Socialising my new puppy

How old is your new puppy. Vaccinations can be done too early sometimes and the maternal protection can render the new vaccination as invalid ! My vet will not start until puppies are 9.5 - 10 weeks of age !

Changing from dry food due to how often she wants out.

Unfortunately when buying our dog food "expensive" does not mean good quality or value for money! Royal Canin puppy ingredients; Poultry protein, (what ever that may be). I have seen feathers mentioned in their ingredients before. Rice, wheat, maize, Beet pulp. (all cheap fillers and...

Changing from dry food due to how often she wants out.

What breed and size is your dog, (just wondering what sort of amount she would require per week). A good quality kibble requires much less to be fed and if you feed a grain free type the poo's would be much less. The raw product produces much smaller and firm poo's as much more of the product...

best wet dog food for my 13 year old

"Natures Menu" have fantastic convenient raw products, their "Country Hunter" frozen complete nuggets are easy to thaw, no blood or mess. They also have complete tinned meals and pouches. Grain free "Country Hunter" contents look good. "Millies Wolfheart", who's dry kibble I always recommend...

Has anyone used NutriPaw ALL-ITCH & immunity treats

Take care with all of these extras you are using. Too much bathing and shampoos can be washing out all of the natural oils in her skin and adding to the itch problem. Have Honey's suggested that you should allow their new diet to help with the itches without the introduction of added products...

    Rehydration for gippy tum.

Yes, thank you. She is putting weight on the foot, will jump on and off of chairs, landing on 3 feet but very quickly back onto 4, up and down stairs. It is amazing how well she has managed with the break over the first week. The vet said she will be ready for our beating season at the...
