Teddy sleeps on his bed in the kitchen. He's very big for a cocker spaniel... and I see the type of things he likes to eat on his walks:emoji_confounded:
I have two small children and an 8 month pup. I know you can babywear etc. But the reality of watching just one dog and children is difficult. I have my hands full with both toddlers and the dog and definitely couldn't safely have another on walks etc.
It's also about the cat's personality too. They may not like dogs that much.
When I was a child we had 2 cats and a dog. My Mum then rehomed another dog (lab x) into our family. The owner was a drunk and said they were going to put her down because they were having a baby :( So, in came this...
Agreed! I LOVE puppy pictures :emoji_blush: I'm actually a bit puppy broody... but, alas, only the one for me. I'm so glad your dog and puppies are doing well Ashley. And you obviously care about them a lot to take the measures you have and see the vet etc.
If you go on the website allaboutdogfood you can view most brands of dog food to see how nutritious the food actually is. It is run by a canine nutritionist and they get marks out of 5. My puppy is 8 months and is on AVA medium puppy, which they sell at Pets at Home. Think it's got a score of...
She really does look like a basenji. She looks quite staffy-ish around her chest and shoulder. I'd say maybe basenji × staffy x jrt or any variant thereof. Just a wild guess of course :D
Hi everyone, I am 8 months old now and have reaaalllllyyyy long legs... I'm still handsome too. If not more so :) Not much to tell really, I spent Saturday playing with my best friend, an 8 month old samoyed puppy called Leelah. I like humping her face. I like to go on longer walks now too, it...
It's just a normal part of toilet training I'm afraid. Just keep on with the regular trips outside, raining postive rewards when he gets it right, ignoring the accidents etc etc and you'll get there. My puppy is 8 months old now, but took a while to house train. I think he was about 4 months...
Have you got a friend/relative who could come in the middle of the day and spend time with him and let him out? Maybe someone has a trustworthy teen at college or something that could come and do it for cheaper than a walker? Or you could ask about for prices, a dog walker/sitter might be...
Agreed. The man would have been potentially homeless/jobless had he to relocate? Would he have been able to provide for his dogs then? It's not as easy as just moving. And then how difficult would it have been to rehome numerous working huskies into pet homes, I'm guessing sled racers looking...
Teddy will chase a ball in the garden and loves chewing toys, but apart from playing tug he couldn't really care for chasing balls. Deffo doesn't when out walking.
I just read further back in the thread that you already suggested GSD x collie lol. I don't really tend to read all of the thread if it's long.
Reg. Dog neutering I researched it a lot and decided on the best decision for our dog and family. For us, the pros outweighed the cons. The very...
