Wow, how things have changed here since k9 - hardly a soul about, and my first look inside for what seems ages - but anyhow, My beautiful companion that I have known since 3 days old is 9 today - as usual spoilt rotten, had steak for her dinner (while I have sausages n mash!!!) & lots of edible...
Well here we are, and another year flown by & today is Jazz's 7th birthday - going rather grey (like her dad) & still very much a little sod.
Needless to say she got spoilt rotten ;)
Happy Birthday Jazz.
It may have well been eating well etc, but most of these animals die of shock anyway.
Grey squirrels are vermin & nothing more than tree rats, not that I condone doing away with them, but money could be better spent (rather than wasting time & money on nursing it back to health - if it was...
I agree - this is a barbaric race, even tho' they altered the course a few years ago due to the number of injuries / deaths etc.
I don't support horse racing full stop & the use of the whip should be banned - either the horse has the stamina and oomph to do the distance or it doesn't...
Great days eh Helen.
Now sadly all water under the bridge, and I myself very rarely look in on k9 as it seems to have gone the same as forums globally have.
Good to log on & see you're still hard at it Chris - Superb pics mate, and you saved the best one for last of course. (no pun intended).
Best wishes to you both.
Andy & Jazzydog.
Well, all the excitement tired her out for a while anyway - then it was time for a good run across the marsh / fields with the frisbee, then home for another kip and then the birthday dinner - nice load of steak!! She eats better than I do - I got sod all for dinner. :(
Tired out after opening...
I don't know where the time has gone, but it doesn't seem a year ago since my little girlies birthday.
Here she is 6 today, and still very much my little pup - even if she is going grey like me. :D
Haven't been whippy racing for a couple of years or so now, and may just pop over to say hello (and possibly bring sergio, the lonely stove as well  ).
Jazz's 6th Birthday on Saturday and she may like to go out for the day - bless her.
Can someone please PM me any race details...
I really hope these boys see some sense, and give the poor mite up - what life has it got cooped up in a shed, only to be played with etc when they feel fit.
I do hope you can take control & get this pup to a proper decent home - a poor start in life isn't going to help this little chap one bit.
Luckily enough for Jazz (and me of course), never had a single flea on her, even though we spend hours in the fields, hasn't even picked up a tick yet.
