Well mine have plenty of free running, in my opinion not letting a running dog run would be most cruel IMO, Thats not to say i let them off in fields with livestock, but how can you possibly be sure there is nothing for them to chase? Rabbits, birds pop out of hedgerows, a cat could appear out...
