LOL gorgeous! Happy Christmas to you Pippywhippet, and all members of K9 community. Here's raising a glass to joy, peace and good health - for us as well as the whippets!!!!
Sadie and Jacques. xx
Thanks ladies! Yes, Ava certainly has a magnetism that is compelling! I must get one of her smiling - she has the loveliest grin! Probably something to do with the fact that she has her Mum and Dad plus everyone else round her little finger - at 14 weeks!!

4 weeks ago I sent Gilligwigs 4 of my books including Sam Goes to Tea with Lily and Alfie plus a kind order she made of some bookmarks in aid of the JR Whippet Rescue. They went in a good sized bubble wrap envelope first class. They still haven't arrived!
Frustrating as they were the last of my...
Ah, Meddling! I envy and feel for you equally!
How I would like to stuff mine in the attic and only bring him out on sunny days, but then occasionally I would miss his soppy grin and the weak tea he makes, so I think it's best to leave things as they are!!!!!
I have more...
Just in case anyone has missed me, we have had PC trouble over recent days - hence my absence! But in the words of the immortal PJ Proby - I'm Back!
Hope everyone is good and enjoying the run (or totter!) up to Christmas!

Our Emma had the dreaded all day sickness just iike Kate. She was hospitalized 7 times for fluid, monitoring and rest. Spoiled the pregnancy so much but at the end we had lovely Ava-May so all ended well!
Prayers and blessings to Kate and Wills!

Many thanks to all who supported the "Sam" books! All are now gone from the first print but if demand continues, I will get more done. I hope to do a series of 5 or 7 so there will be more whippety fun comng your way!
I did feel sad that no more than 2 people showed interest in the bookmarks...
Thanks folks - some interesting comments there! I don't know much about (nothing in fact!) poodles but my parents kept Cavalier King Charles and they were lovely little pets. Ideal for Mum and Dad but not as hardy as the whippet, of course!
I think the spring will see us adding to our...
We watched a programme on Sky last night about getting your first puppy. The guy showed a Cavapoodle/Cavaloodle??? I assume a Cavalier/Poodle cross? It was adorable, with a fluffy, wavy coat plus golden/cream colour. Grew to the size of a Cavalier. Beauty and brains I suspect, as I know Poodles...
Orders for `Sam` books have been superb and I only have one left. If the demand is there I will have more printed. Thanks to all who supported `Sam` and JR and Scruples whippet rescues.

An update on the bookmarks. I had 2 orders for whippet bookmarks which gave the JR Whippet Rescue a few extra pounds. I had lots of interest in the children's ones on ebay which supported Scruples so they were pleased. I will be taking abreak from bookmarks until after Xmas if interest is not...
Oh well it's all over for another year! (Sorry, our pc went bust on us and we have only just got our hands on a replacement from one of the boys!).
We all wanted Charlie to win and were pleased she did. Never liked Janine Butcher but Charlie is a Darling! What will we do on these cold, long...
You don't say how old your boy is, but it sounds like he's a one person/one dog pet. Sorry if this sounds negative, but some dogs just adopt their owner to the total exclusion of everything/everyone else.
Our Jacques could easily be the same, but thankfully we insist he is...
Oohh two year old Cocker...lovely! Hope you all have many fun times together! In Charlie's memory you have opened up your home and your heart, once again!

I used to visit a residential/nursing home with Sadie our bitch we kept from a littler. She was very gentle and pretty (not so good with her Mum though!) and we had over a year PAT dog visiting the residents. They loved her and of course I was proud to be helping these beloved veterans of our...
