Milo is 9 months and, in the main, incredibly well behaved off lead when we are out. In the summer we encountered a man and woman in their 60's with their two grand daughters aged approx 5 and 7 years, bending over and fiddling with one of their bikes. I passed them with my three dogs, Milo...
It's interesting reading all these posts. My bitch came into season at 10 months, looked like a baboon and wasn't interested in cleaning herself which made for a very messy time. I did get her 'knickers', which she didn't take kindly to and, in one move, managed to rip them off and distance...
I love the winter and snow :) (hate summer and heat! ) and I think pic 4 is just stunning, action shot and the snow coming down - good enough for any calendar. I envy you your snow as we've had a measly smattering here, unlike earlier in the year when we were snowed in. I think we...
You lucky things with all that snow. We had a blizzard on Friday and its frozen solid but nowhere near as much as you - we are due for ours tomorrow. Gracie loved it last year but of course, Milo hasn't seen the white stuff yet. Btw, love Flint's bum - looks as though he's wearing rather cool...
I just can't believe Tala would do anything like that. o:) As Milo eats everything he can get his naughty little chops around, I presume our tree will go the same way, which is why I can only pose the question, ARE YOU MAD PUTTING UP A CHRISTMAS TREE IN NOVEMBER!!!!! memo to...
I don't know if I'm the person to reply to your last post as I wouldn't have considered a dog and certainly not a puppy, when I was working. I'm sure it can work for some and people are able to get home but I try never to leave my three for more than two hours. I'm sure the older two would be...
That's lovely news about Badger. I hope you have a lovely Christmas with him and spend just as much time together as possible. :santa: Here's hoping he continues being as well as he can.
Got rescue number 1 (whippy X) :)) , hmm she needs a friend, number 2 rescue arrives. :D Wouldn't it be nice to have a puppy, number 3 arrives. :- Great trauma and sadness as number 2 goes to the rainbow bridge. Now number 3 is pestering older number 1 so needs a playmate, here comes...
DON'T FEEL BAD. Lots of us have been there for one reason or another and you will get it sorted out. Get him crated asap but do it gently and don't make him feel it's a punishment. Feed him in his crate (what a great place this is mum!), put a new toy in there to have a play and if he really...
As others have said, don't worry about the cat. Puppies 'adopt' them and soon learn a bit of respect after the first biff on the nose. :( I have two cats, the feisty female won't stand any nonsense but gets on well with the three dogs as long as they don't overstep the mark. The huge black...
Can only reiterate what everyone else says and especially the crate. I had a little 1 year old rescue girl who would wee and poo whenever I went out and overnight, regardless of when fed, walks etc. She also had horrendous separation anxiety so I purposefully did not crate her because I...
Great pics as usual, especially the first one and the one of Tala leaping up the dune. I love seeing them out for the count after a good long walk.
Have only just seen this and I wish Daisy a speedy recovery. There is a Bitter Lemon spray that I bought to stop one of mine chewing their tail and I can promise it does taste vile! It says can be sprayed onto wounds but I will have a look on the website and pm you.
