:thumbsup: Thanks everyone, Ozzy has had his stitches out but it was the nurse who did it - so I couldnt find anymore out from the vet. He just has to carry on with the antibiotics till he has his blood done again in 2 weeks, the stuff on his head and ears hasnt improved at all :unsure: but...
She did say she thought it was the mild version but that we need to keep an eye on him. He is eating well (a bit too well, as usual ;) ) and he is playing in his Ozzy fashion. He is in tomorrow morning for his stitches out as I couldnt get there today (flat tyre :angry: ) Ill ask more then...
They just dont know really :unsure: Ive got to take him back on monday and no doubt the vet will tell me more then - if she can!! so far our Ozzy has been a medical phenomenon :b :-
She said he should be ok, but there are secondary infections which is why he is still on the antibiotics. He has been on them for a while now - which I dont like but if he needs them... I think it just wait and see :unsure:
The vet rang me today with the results of Ozzy's biopsy - he has a disease called Erythema Multiforme :unsure: She said that it is the mild form and is to do with his immune system and has no known cause. I have to continue with the antibiotics and will probably be given more when i go on...
:( Hi Clare, I know youve been busy lol! I bet its quieter in your house now :D Trust Ozzy to get something peculiar - he worries me to death :- Stitches out of his head on monday but dont know if we will have any results of the biopsy by then.
