I only discovered it a few weeks ago myself. I sure could have done with it when Willow was going through all her ops. But everyone on here was such a big help to us back then. (Getting all sentimental now, lol.)
It's fantastic isn't it, how quickly dogs can adapt and get on with life after limb amputation. 8) If it were one of us humans we'd be hobbling about for months on end!!

Horrible.
She has an eight year old daughter as well. If it was my choice the child would be removed from her care as well. She's not the kind of person to be intrusted with any living beings care!!!
My sister (who doesn't have any dogs!) walks like a whirlwind. Anytime we head somewhere together she storms on ahead and I'm left struggling to keep up! (w00t)
Trying to have a conversation is near impossible. What the heck is the hurry!!!!

Congrats on your new arrival. Now hurry up already with the pics!!!!

It certainly seems to make sense; so long as owners are sensible and don't leave the bitch open to opertunities of unwanted mating etc. With rescues though they can't always be guaranteed the new owners will be careful enough and it's probably a case of being better off neutered sooner than...
Nina,
What effects does it have on a bitch to have her neutered pre first season, physically/mentally? I'm curious. My bitch was neutered at 6-7 months and never had a season. So far, so good; but just wondering what effects this might have on her.
If the emails they have recieved so far are from people that are willing to travel to view the dogs, perhaps that is why they haven't responded. I've a feeling there aren't any dogs to actually be seen. But I could be wrong.
