No bad experiences here. Just wouldnt trust the collars wether it be stitching or material....when i really need a collar to support the dog if its worried by something or straining to get at something... These collars surely cant be guaranteed? The collars i mentioned above 100% will not...

I personally wouldnt use mine for all day walking....its not the casting/ metal work that you have to worry about breaking...its the stitching. Mine use theirs in the house for comfort...and thats it. I have nice leather collars for 'best'... For everg day use...working..i use a strongstuff...

Both in general although i have lived in scotland for 7 years im originally from england. The rspca is the main one with the sspca following them like a lost puppy. The sspca are worse in some ways, better in others. Just give them both a wide berth and dont let them intimidate you.
