    Advice Please! (seasons)

Yes; I do agree fully, on all counts. I tried to edit my post (WHY do I press send, then think of a better way to say what I've posted? LOL) - I was going to say, I never let my bitch off-lead during her season unless we are in an ENCLOSED space with no other dogs. I don't walk her at all if we...

    Advice Please! (seasons)

I can appreciate that we all have our own viewpoints on all matters under the sun, and need to respect each other's opinions but would like to point out the following: some male dogs maybe don't get at all bothered (or less bothered than some others, anyway) when there is a bitch in season...

Can You Use Gentle Leaders/haltis On Whippets?

I've used a Gentle Leader on a Whippet and would say it's fine - I have a really strong pulling Whippet boy (who I could NOT walk without a headcollar on, he is very strong), who twisted a Gentle Leader about on his face and rubbed a bit, so now I use a Dogmatic head collar - costs about £17...

Poor Little Cat That Had Been Knocked Down Tonight

Thanks Jan and bless you as well for doing that. There's just something about wanting some dignity and kindness for it, isn't there? I just couldn't have continued driving home if I'd left it there, I knew I just wouldn't stop thinking about it. while I was driving back towards it an ambulance...

Poor Little Cat That Had Been Knocked Down Tonight

Very sad - on the way home from cinema half an hour ago, I could see 2 little eyes shining in my headlights as I approached; a cat had been hit by a car and was lying in the middle of the road; I drove past, then turned round and went back to pick it up and put it on the grass verge. Poor little...

    My Tibetan Terrier, Holly

Thank you all for your kind comments about Princess Holly :)) Nicola - she takes about an hour and a half to bath and groom through; and TTs need bathing about every 4 weeks (more frequently if they're going to a show). Whippets are MUCH more practical, grooming-wise! LOL Holly has one of the...
