When i started the thread i thought that the lack of tracks and injuries would be the main reason. I really wanted to get a feel on peoples attitude towards bend racing.
Unfortunately i have another question to ask  . In a sport where we ask our dogs to come out of traps, run their hearts...
It is a shame though it's such and exciting race and as i'm normally the trapper i get to see the finish for a change  . I've been told many stories and seen DVD's with great bend races but not many about great straight races, I'm sure there are a few. It seems like we joined the sport 20...
We feel the same, we're really looking forward to the HOE bend and really enjoy the WCRA bends.
We're hoping to get to one or two of the non-peddie opens this winter, firstly to watch Vicky's dog run and maybe enter our boys at the same time.
We are half way through our third year racing and for us the most exciting racing is on the bend. Our two most memorable days racing were at the Independant on the bend last year and the last champs, we love it. However we have heard that Stanborough has finished racing so no bend there now, one...
Hope you have a great day. Sorry we won't be there, it's Amy's 18th birthday that day so we will be out celebrating. We will give you a donation next time we see you.
Happy birthday to our boy Bentley and all his litter mates, who are 2 today, Woodleigh Ebony (Kate) Bella of Muir, Minnie the minx and the others (sorry i don't know their names). He is a cracking dog and we are so lucky and proud to have him, he has done so well for us this year and has given...
Thank you Michael for the results. Got to say thank you to all the people that helped to make it such an enjoyable day, special thanks to non committee members Kevin Roper, Steve and Sarah and all others that i may have forgot who worked so hard on the day. even my dad bless him at 75 doing more...
We also really enjoyed the day, the track was fantastic. We must also congrats all the Harvel dogs, they did really well. We love bend racing it was so exciting and great to hear people cheering their's and other dogs home, shame they are so few are far between.
Well done also to Flash in the...
Hiya, depending where you live in London. Harvel PWRC is near Dartford/Bluewater shopping centre. If interested i can give you details. There is also the Stanborough club just of the M25 near Ashridge (i think) someone should be able to give you the full address.

Just a reminder that our entry date is on Friday. Thank you to all those that have entered and supported the opens here in Kent. Pedigree whippet racing in my opinion should be experienced all over the country to give us all the chance to participate in our wonderful sport. We personally travel...
Thank you, were so lucky and so proud  . Massive thank you to Jean Goode for letting us have him and to everyone who helped us over the last three years with both our boys.
Went up there last night with our boys, mainly for our cross breed who damaged both his cruciate ligaments, they did really well. Marley may never beat Bentley in a whippet race but he would definately beat him in a swimming race
Always made to feel welcome and Barry is a really nice bloke.
Thank you to all those that attended and supported the Honeyhills open. Love the photos especially the ones with the kids having fun, well done Vicky and Sarah . There are so many people to thank, it was a real team effort everybody worked hard and it was good fun getting it ready. I'd like to...
