Eddy is settling in very well and Dexter is being a great teacher. Dexter is firm but gentlle in letting Eddy know how far he can push him and what he can get away with.
I just sit there with a big smile on my face...
He was raised indoors with 8 in the litter and his mum and dad . The breeder had 3 young children so i think he was quite well socialised.
Toadys weather really seems to have perked him up :)
Yep he definitely coming out of his shell now. I took him to the vets this morning for his innoculation and when he got back home he was so glad to see the labradors that he did frantic playing for half an hour ( back to sleep now though ) o:)
Thank you everybody for your kind advise ,yes he seems to be a little bit more outgoing by the hour . He had a ` mad 5 minutes ` this afternoon with my lab . Both of them were tearing around the living together as though their tales were on fire !!!

His name is Eddy , its hard to tell from the photos but he has a silver / fawn coat , greeny /brown eyes and a dark blue nose. :wub:
Hi , yes he has a towel that used to be in his old bed which i tranfered to his new bed but he seems to prefer sleeping in my arms or on my bed. I didnt want to start bad habits by letting him sleep on my bed but at the moment it seems to be the only place where he seems content and relaxed.

Eddy came from a litter of 8 . Five of the puppies were similar to him and the other three were a little more outgoing. I wasnt sure if this was normal with whippets as i have only ever had labradors to compare with.
His tummy seems to be ok , everything looks normal...
