Took The Girls Up To The Schooling Track

Thanks Nicola- all very good advice. I think a tripod or at least a monopod might be an idea, but I find myself running a bit to get as many shots as possible and being rather clumsy I'm fairly certain I'd end up tripping over it. I use the camera on the manual settings with the AI focus on as...

Took The Girls Up To The Schooling Track

It is a great camera even if it makes me work rather harder to take pics than I'm used to. They chase a 'hare' moves around on tracks (a bit like railway tracks). The hare itself changes freqently. This time it was a wind socky sort of thing, sometimes it is a large black and white soft toy...

Lovely pics, especially the one of your son jumping and the ones of him carrying Deedee.

Took The Girls Up To The Schooling Track

:b Canon 40D, proving to be rather harder work than the 350, but I hope it'll be worth it when I figure out how it works.

Took The Girls Up To The Schooling Track

Little Esme has to be one of the laziest whippets on earth (unless there is the smell of bunny around). I have rarely seen a dog make less effort running around the track  -_- . I know she LOOKS like she's trying in these ones, but I promise you that she really wasn't by the...

Took The Girls Up To The Schooling Track

I always find Josie hard to photograph, I wonder if it is because her rough coat makes it more difficult for the auto focus to pick up on. Yet more to come

Took The Girls Up To The Schooling Track

Took the girls up to the schooling track today, we were meant to be racing properly there this afternoon but it was cancelled. We thought we might as well take the girls up there for a time trial anyway, and I wanted to try my new camera out there anyway. Here are the results, not great, but...

    Jumping Girls

This is how the other two deal with the gate. And she really can squeeze through that gap. Nana, who is generally the least bright, rather showed the others up by realising that the gate was in fact open. :- "

    Jumping Girls

As you might imagine it's a bit of a nightmare really, if they see a rabbit there's absolutely no stopping them they just go. The good thing is that these two are generally very obedient and come when they are called. The other two are much less obedient but thank goodness also don't jump.

    Jumping Girls

One of our girls' favourite games is jumping out of wherever you try to leave them. The culprits are Josie and Tess. I thought I'd take some pics of them as it's quite impressive. This is over a fence that is higher than a 5 bar gate (w00t) . This is over the 5 bar.
