It doesn't "hurt me" - but every forum has rules and I'm politely asking that clubs either use their own section or the general racing forum - otherwise there's not much point in having a club section if they feel no-one is reading it there. Cheers
I imagine an AGM would be for members?
Really we don't want duplicate threads. You can either put club business in here or in the club section. We don't mind which, but not both :)
Someone from the BC Rescue is signing up here, they might help point you in the right direction, not necessarily for a rehome (as you said your friend might not be interested) but they might have some contacts in that area?
We now have the brown dog as our 'favicon', this means it will appear when you add DogForum to your bookmarks. It also might show up in the tabs.
Let me know if you spot it? :)
LOL! Ours is starting to do that now too - but without us even standing up. It gets to a point in the evening (around the time you mention) and she just wonders off to her bed in the kitchen where the lights are normally off. It's as if she's saying to us "Right you lot, bed time, come on - I'll...
Hi Hula, you don't need to use Photobucket at all. Just click the link http://www.dogforum.co.uk/index.php?app=core&module=usercp and then the button. You can upload your picture directly from your PC on to Dog Forum :)
Cheers for the reply and explanation on the history.
Our dog, while growing up (she's 3) used to eat everything immediately and with some gusto ;) But has recently developed a technique where she eats almost exactly 50% of her breakfast and then leaves the rest - to the point where the...
Stop panicking ;) We feed ours twice a day - the title was just to get your attention. But, having said that, I was told recently that dogs are designed to eat lots in one go and then burn it off over a period of a few days. This is based on the idea that, in the wild, they would have caught...
Where does this happen, when new people come in to your house or when you're out in the park, walking down the street, etc?
PS. Welcome to the forum, bring your friends, etc! :D
I think there's some confusion though between the old 'common' mongrels (with massively mixed 'heritage') and the new 'designer' mongrels which come from just 2 breeds.
As I type this, my dog is busy having a dream on the bed next to my feet. I don't think I'll ever tire of hearing those cute little 'sleep barks' she does! Am I the only one who imagines their dog is dreaming of chasing something that, in real life, she'd cower and run a mile from? Big and...
But every breed has to be a first gen at some point I guess - so in X years time people will be calling Labradoodles pedigrees, in theory. Bonkers isn't it! :)
OP: I know someone with a labradoodle (? Labrador and Poodle) seems like a lovely, if energetic, dog! Maybe check that cross?
I thought, ultimately speaking, that most dogs (i.e. those which are considered Pedigree now) are a result of cross breeding at some point in evolution? :p / devil's...
At the bottom of this page, you should see (in the reply box) a button called More Reply Options - that should allow you to upload a bigger picture if you wish?
