Actually neither of us know where it came from. My grandmother registered Ringmore for her Dachsies originally. Later on Mum got a whippet, and the rest is history. We don't think she ever lived in Ringmore, but perhaps she had a holiday there with happy memories...... :- "
I've just heard from a friend in Finland who took her puppy to a show yesterday where the total whippet entry was 28. Her next show is bigger, an international one, where the entry is 41.
Wow! I'm impressed Jax - you managed to find the 2 seconds when Cheetah had all 4 feet on the ground! Pity she didn't do that when the judge was looking! :clown:
Thanks!
As many people have said, all responsible breeders agonise about their puppies' homes - we all do. However hard we try though, circumstances change and we can't always get it right. From my own experience the home I was least certain of has turned out one of the best - a family with 2...
Thanks Beth and Jo.
Not so sure about "Sweetie Cheetah" The little  got into the spare room and unpacked all the Xmas decorations while I was at work the other day. The OH went in to give feed her at lunch time and wondered why there was a red bauble in the middle of the lawn, but it...
I think this is the first time he's given CCs in Whippets, although he did do the Whippet Club of Scotland's Members Show a couple of years ago. I wasn't there, but maybe someone can remember what he did? Liz, Emma, Fiona?

RINGMORE DRINKING PARTNER!! :D :D
Well, I don't often get to boast!! And Cheetah qualified at her first show! (3rd MPB)
(She was so tired after travelling up on Friday that she managed to keep most of her feet on the floor!)
You're right about the  ! It's like living with a mini hurricane!
Her ring debut - for anyone who wants a laugh - is on Saturday at Whippet Club of Scotland.
Hi Anna,
I warn you, if Jings is anything like her sister, she'll be very opinionated, and very stubborn. If Cheetah wants something or is just bored, she "talks about it " and doesn't shut up - especially if I've shut her out of a room. She also finds electric cables very tasty! So far...
I have exactly the same problem - a blue, a predominantly white parti and a fawn - and there's NO WAY I'm going to take a selection of outfits to shows and change between classes. I generally go for pale blue trousers and a brightly coloured top - my fundament is too big for red or shocking...
I'll be three with the gang of hounds. It will be the hooligan's first show! If anyone wants a laugh, just watch Minor Puppy Bitch. (w00t) Life is just too exciting to stand still, and as for walking in a straight line, when there are people around to talk to.....no chance! :teehee:
