We feed our Whippets twice as much food over our winters than over our very hot summers as they are much less active in the heat (Northern Australia) We watch their ribs and spine and adjust their food accordingly.

Our two enjoy frozen chicken wings or necks each morning. Just on the salmonella. Toddlers have been know to get it from Frog poo, fish tanks and pond water.
