Don't know David very well but know him well enough to know he meant no malice and is one person I consider to be a sporting gentleman when it comes to racing.
I can't help feel that insults and arguments both at the track and on the internet have done more harm to the sport than anything. Ask...
Just to point out this is topic was started in 2003!
Dee it depends on what is in the product. DMSO is absorbed into the body to name one example. It states this clearly in the accompanied paperwork. Ibuprofen gels are absorbed by the body apparently but to a considerably lesser extent than...
Lots of things will show up in tests. Whether they're an enhancement drug is dependant upon the opinions of those doing the testing and those enforcing drug testing.
Embrocations and products within them can show up in urine testing either through absorption through the skin or through urine...
Happy birthday kids!!!
Definitely need a group pik of this litter. All physically stunning whilst diverse and showing some serious promise in their training.
Me & Tony think this litter will be awesome. Best of luck to them all in the coming years of racing.
Great night's racing! All tight finishes on the line too.
Black Admiral looks impressive. Had a go at videoing him (on my wall on Facebook) He was that fast out, he was 3 yds clear of traps before the lid hit!!
You'd think pups would be tired after all the excitement and 2 trials...
Well done to all the winners and all those involved in organising the event.
Hate to see folk fall out. As an outsider looking in I can see why both sides upset but hope you can all put it behind you and work together, if not for the sake of racing. :luck:
David, inorder to capture a shot on...
Will return the Blue Herb trophy on the day
Love this track, makes me feel like it's the home of scratch racing with some cracking dogs running and some brilliant racing. Hope you get a great turn out
Re NNWRF straight champs, Whippet News, NNWRF and Alpha have all been supplied with trophy piks I was able to get.
Elise kindly took a photo of Sup Vet Sc Nch Little Wilma.
So sorry for all concerned. Upsetting enough taking your bitch for a c section and loosing pups but to loose the dogs that you hoped for, for your sires owner is a real smack in the face.
Wishing the best of luck to the remaining bitches and hope Tag is recovering well . :luck:
I'm sorry Danny. Your right it doesn't get any easier but then one should worry about oneself if it did. :huggles:
They can't live forever, but 15 is a grand age and you should be proud of that.
Rest in peace Susie x
We'll last year we had some of the best dogs in the country running at this event. This year you've got no excuse not to attend whether you own a flyer or a club dog. With a capped entry fee, encouraging you to run all your gang too. All have a chance of winning and no one will be going home...
Happy Retirement Polly! :huggles:
Beautiful multiple champion winning bitch who gained her titles in strong competition throughout her career.
Credit due to Stu and Sue for their diligent care of Polly. When faced with a potentially career ending injury, their hard work paid off...
Loads of tests online for testing. Leading foot is one but most often used test is to fill a Kong with a treat and see which paw holds the Kong. Some dogs are ambidextrous too. I imagine such a skill would be advantageous for running bends.
I came across an interesting article produced by Royal Canin about re training left handed greyhounds using vet wrap. One of ours is left handed, never seeded on straights but a tight railer on the bends. I did consider trying it but as he was an adult and was repeatedly straining his shoulder...
