When I used to go to a lot of terrier and lurcher shows , staffs used to get shown in a mixed class for miscellaneous breeds that wouldn`t have attracted enough entries for a full class. I`ve seen a couple of Staffies that were great ratters, and one that would deal well with bigger game :D If...

The consensus of that boards membership on whippets was `shivering little bastards` I think myself and others have educated them as to what a real working whippet is capable of :D Not quite as macho as a big bull cross lurcher , but every bit as capable :D :cheers:

Made the most of the frosty weather to get in a couple of hours ferreting with my lad Harry and Gyp and Suzie The place we had arranged to visit has been hit fairly hard by myxie, but we managed to find some healthy rabbits about . Managed 8 good rabbits plus a few myxied that the dogs picked...

UPDATE   The 8 dog whippet stake is back on due to entries from Gay and Matt .   Draw is being done tonight (Thurs)

Due to lack of support , the whippet stake is now cancelled
