Due to adverse weather conditions (torrential rain) yesterday and overnight the game fair was cancelled today . Apologies to anyone who travelled to see or take part in the Lure Coursing display

What a day!! Really heavy rain most of the day, luckily it started just after we had finished running the lure coursing. Once again a great reaction from the crowd and another trophy for Sean and Shona with High Jinx Finalists were High Jinx and Cyanra Ice Saint of Nisyff . Full results later...

A great day that saw the profile of the whippet as a hunting dog raised in that particular neck of the woods. I got a phone call last week asking me if we`d help put on a demo at this farm. It is a working farm ,but the Yorks Dales national park have a guided tour type of thing around the farm...

[Arron told Nigel there is a camp opposite the showground. [ message from arron .....there is a camp site on lowther estate, but its bobbins, we stay on a camp site on the a66 called the beckses camp site which is great and accomodates both caravans and tents, has a local pub(very important)...

The UK Working Whippet Club will be running 2 demonstration 8 dog lure coursing stakes (subject to final confirmation) at Lowther Game Fair on August 9th and 10th in the main arena/ring for the CA . Watch this space for more info!
