Thanks. They didn't prescribe anything for the campylobacter other than Royal Canin sensitive dry food. I suppose it was so bland he was able to rest his stomach. He needed to reach 7 days of "proper" poops.
I feel we need to take this step back again.
All that's changed in this last week is...
My whippet puppy is now 24 weeks old. He's been with us from 10 wks of age and the poor baby came to us with coccidiosis and campylobacter. He only had diarrhea though. Luckily no blood or vomiting. With vet help and a bland diet we got him through it. He's been ok and putting weight on steadily...
Hi
Dogs Trust recommend lots of dog friendly cottages across the uk where pets go free.
Again, I know you are going to Wales but just for info if anyone is interested The Bay near Filey is good to go with dogs. Apartments and cottages with direct access to the beach and a dog friendly pub...
Hey
Sorry to hear your pup is having problems.
We had this with a pup we got at 10 weeks old. Diarrhea but totally well in himself. No blood in it. We tried ABs first - didnt help. Bit of a half hearted bland diet. We then had samples taken and he had 2 different parasites :(
So (and I know...
Thank you for your replies.
Yes. I have correctly fitted (and very lovely) Martingdale fabric collars. My query - which I didn't make clear - was the strength of them. Obviously fabric will wear over time.
With regard to leather whippet collars. Agreed its probably because they are standard...
Just wondering about these collars
I have some and they're lovely but I've never used them as a collar and lead type collar

Thanks in advance
It would be nice to hear what type of collars your whippets...
Not sure if this is the right place to post.
Wanting a pup - ideally male - that will be quite small in build
Please pm me if you know of any - I'm in South Yorkshire
Thanks
My boy Barney often nudges us with his rear end. He will either sit down with his back to us and then lift his bum or he does it from a standing crouch again nudging with his bum!
I think it's a kind of cute "I want something" nudge. Our Dylan doesn't do it.
Does anyone else's whippet do this...
Sounds like another good morning.
My OH works shifts so we've not been able to come to watch the last couple of weeks - I still look out for these results though. Hope to get through in a few Saturdays time.

Anyone know where to buy leather Martingdale loop collars? The type you slip over the head and tighten the loop and then release for off lead? (I have slip leads but want a proper whippet width collar area)
Thanks
Thank you for your reply. It's interesting about the home insurance. I will look into it.
I've learnt that Dogs Trust covers for liability if you become a member (not a bad thing in itself) and gives access to VetFone.
Saving up the monthly payments is something that I've considered. It...
Hi
Going back to the original post - possibly walking 3 is no longer an "issue". The beautiful rescue boy has been rehomed (yah for him!) so I will be keeping to my 2 beautiful boys for now.
