Thanks, I am getting to grips with it a bit better & have managed to get some fairly decent motion shots even with the lens I got with it.
Not brilliant but not too bad, what do you reckon?
Wouldn't have thought it was 2 years ago :(
My dalmatian Ludo has been gone for 10 years now & I still get tearful sometimes :(
RIP to all those we have loved & lost

:)
i phoned my mum earlier (she's 75) just to check she was ok & she said that this morning a lady knocked on her door just to ask did she need anything from the shops. The lady lives at the other end of my mums road & has said hello a few times but mum doesn't even know her name so thought it...
I was just wondering the other day how he was doing so I'm really glad to hear he's a happy boy again :D
Great news, well, maybe not if you're a squirrel :p
I got a new camera at Christmas, it's quite complicated to say the least.
all I want really is to be able to take good pics of the dogs when they are running.
It's an OlympusE-420 and came with a 14-42mm lens.
What with the snow & ice recently I've not had much chance to practice with it cos...
yesterday morning my 3 and my friends 3 were all munching on frozen bamboo leaves in the local park. They grazed for ages on it.
Hebe often eats bits of wood but especially when it's nice & crunchy when frozen.
Aren't they a wierd lot?
Thanks,
I don't think it's the salt as we only have a short walk to the park & our council havn't gritted the pavements anyway
I think it's just the extreme cold & the fact her skin is so thin. It doesn't affect the pads, it's the top knuckle area on just the middle 2 toes on her back...
I've seen some really good sturdy boots but they are not cheap & I'm sure they'd fall off when she goes off in the woods chasing small furries.
She's not been lame & tbh she doesn't seem bothered at all, still running around like a fool but her little toes look so red & sore :( the snow is...
the dogs are loving this snow & we've been in the park every day but I've noticed Scrumpys back feet are looking sore. She is a very skinny lurcher & has no fat on her at all. Her middle 2 toes on her back feet go pink then bright red. This morning they almost looked as tho they were bleeding &...
Well I suppose I could but tbh I've come to the conclusion he'll always be a little sod whatever we do
He'll go for ages being good & then he forgets himself & goes all grumpy again, it's just the way he is. We've had him for nearly 9years now & he's not eaten anyone yet :-
Wise...
I have 2 lurchers who do agility. My oldest one Hebe(in my avatar), is a whippet cross, probably with some (if not half) collie. She's always been very willfull & likes her own way but has been quick to learn everything i've ever asked her to do. She can do flyball & has passed her KC good...
Sorry I missed your birthday, I wasn't on here last night.
Hope you had a great birthday & well done in your photo comp.
