Thanks Debs, it was just really fun to make, a real trip back down memory lane sifting through boxes of photo's i hadn't seen for many years. A really fun hobby & great way to cherish all your memories.

I always say they are the greediest things on 4 legs! Mine eat no amount of rubbish out on their walks plus whatever they can steal indoors. Worst they ever ate was when we took them on holiday & the day we left the cottage we drained all the fat & oil out of the frying pan & chip pan & poured...

Just keep an eye on her but she will be fine i'm sure. One of mine nicked an entire cooked chicken carcass out of the bin & had no ill effects! There is no bigger thief than a whippet! (w00t)

I know 4 professional groomers very well & i would NEVER leave one of my dogs with ANY of them ;) There have been many cases widespread of dogs being choked by being held too tightly & being left in dryers far too long that they died.

And your proud of this? I think you just answered your own statement about some folk looking down on you. Most people care about their dogs & whilst some find it acceptable to work their dogs taking rabbits & hares etc, to pit their dogs up against a fox to fight a battle to the death...

Hi Eve, i just wanted to say how touched i was to read this. Well done you, whilst i know ALL rescues are short of cash & obviously can not help EVERY dog they would like to, to me a whippet in need of help is a whippet in need of help & with yourself offering such a fantastic lifeline & chance...
