When the CC has been awarded the judge can then if they choose bring in the dog who was second to the CC winner in for the challenge of RCC. This does happen quite a lot. Do I presume you are referring to the hound show?

Well done to all. There were such a lot of fabulous whippets. What a task judging such a big entry. We were pleased to win JD with Frankie & 2nd in PGD with Joe. Great atmosphere around the ring and great to catch up with like minded whippeters.

Dog judges can with hold places and tickets and it does happen So if there is a class with only one entry it could get a third place if the judge decides it is not worthy of a higher place. pretty sure that if there is only 3 in a class then all 3 would qualify if they are given 1st, 2nd & 3rd...
