The weather where you are .

I agree - on one of the rare occasions I rode pillion I found it very easy to imagine what the state of my body would be if we skidded and I came off and slid along the tarmac. It wouldn't have been pretty. I did enjoy it, but the bike really wasn't designed for two up, and with us both being...

The weather where you are .

MrN had to take his motorbike in to be serviced and MOTed yesterday - 45-min ride through traffic, then back home on a loan bike, and today he had to go back over to pick it up. All in full leathers & helmet, and slow-moving traffic. He's had better rides.

Yes, apparently JJ Garden toured with them, playing keyboards, rhythm guitar and bass from 2024 to 2012.

We're still catching up (trying to fit in Wimbledon too). Watched the Prodigy last night - wow. And as for the lighting - double wow. Then tonight we caught up with the Scissor Sisters, who were just wonderful. How they fit so much joy onto one stage I do not know!

3 Year old Dog messing her room

First up, although you don't punish her, she must feel your disapproval or she wouldn't react differently when you come in after she's messed in the night. She probably doesn't connect your disapproval with the act of doing the poo, but with you coming in when there is a poo on the floor - she...

    What is wrong with people?

The penalties for animal abuse and neglect are a joke :( At least in the UK, I've no idea what they're like in Germany.

    Don't seize the day....

I saw this on Facebook and it made me chuckle: Do not seize the day. This will startle the day and may cause it to become aggressive and give you a nasty bite. Instead approach the day calmly without making eye contact, pet it gently, and slowly enfold it in a careful embrace. If the day...

Random yelping and occasional small spots of blood, possibly issue with paw - Any ideas what to ask the vet

Jasper had to be sedated with a jab in the bum before he could have a GA as there was no way they'd be able to inject it into a vein. Then was too stressed to lie down so stood there getting gradually more wobbly like a baby giraffe till eventually his legs gave way.

Random yelping and occasional small spots of blood, possibly issue with paw - Any ideas what to ask the vet

Make sure the vet knows you need them to have a really close inspection of the sore paw because if it's bleeding occasionally, there's something going on. I'd also ask them to check his teeth while they're at it and maybe remove any tartar build-up. I'd even consider asking them to take bloods...

    Glastonbury 2025

I looked him up online, just to check out his fitness regime, as he moves like someone half his age. As well as working out a lot, and being able to play several nights in a row on tour with issues, he said he was Asperger's, which has influenced his music in a good way. Which explains any...

    Jack Russell barking growling aggressive

Has your JRT always been like this? Have you had him since he was a pup? For treating his separation anxiety, would you be able to commit to not leaving him at all for a while? This would then enable you to get him used to being left very gradually, literally starting with a couple of...
