Well, thank goodness for a top class web host!!!
We are back on line thanks to Locallife who were sorting it all out and we didn't even have to ask them to do it!! :D
Scruples Whippet Rescue's website has been hacked and taken over by a lowlife Brazilian group called Sophia Hackers.
We are now losing valuable donations via our website because of this and nobody can apply via the website to adopt our...
The idea of the lurcher field events is to test the lurchers' stamina and ability to perform a number of different tasks and not just proving their ability to run fast. It's all based around the idea of simulating what they might find when out working .... and working is what lurchers are bred...
In answer to the questions ............
The lurcher and terrier judges are Andy Banfield for lurchers and Kevin Donoghue for terriers.
We are working hard to produce a schedule of classes for the showing!!
The working lurcher events will be run on the same basis as other events which Kev and...
If you are planning to use a crate as a safe hideaway for the pup that he/she can grow into, then the minimum size IMO that you need is 30" long, 20" wide and 24" high. This will allow for comfort when the pup is grown up.
Crates are great as a dog's "special place" where they can go for peace...
Milly's brother is stunning!!
I am so taken by this breed - they are amazing and I think I may well look into getting a silken windhound of my own one of these days
Hallo. I'm so very sorry to hear that you've lost your mum :(
Hopefully you will have received a message from one of our supporters giving you Scruples' address (she rang me earlier to let me know you were asking).
Thank you so very much for thinking of us. You are very much in all our...
Very nice pups and good mix in the breeding too. I don't like too much bull in them but a small amount is a benefit to a working dog :)
I like the little fawn bitch best
I know of a dog who was diagnosed with KC 10 days after Ilsington. Most of the South West lurchers were there so if you want to ensure the infection is contained as much as possible then you might be better off to cancel tomorrow completely
A friend's dog was diagnosed with kennel cough 10 days after attending the South West Terrier, Lurcher and Ferret club show at Ilsington. She didn't take the dog to Stevenstone but there were probably several there who may have been incubating at the time.
Hi Laura
I can't sympthise enough with you :huggles: I have seen first-hand the damage that a horse can inflict with what is (to the horse) a flippant lash out :(
I too have horses and I keep my whippets completely separate from them in case of accidents which can happen no matter how...
Scruples has had a call from a lovely lady in Bonn, Germany, who has been seeking to adopt an older whippet for a long time now.
I have spoken at great length to her and thought I would ask on the forums to see if any of the showing folk have contacts in Germany who may want a retirement home...
He sounds as though he feels extremely threatened and I wonder if the change of lifestyle has anything to do with this.
He obviously spent alot of time out walking when you were doing the dog walking but now he is spending time just sitting around in the shop and this may be the cause of the...
Not all infections respond to the same AB so she might need another type of medication to sort out this problem.
Definitely worth taking her back to the vet to be on the safe side
