knew there would be one!"Keep them on a leash" haha, why should I?I can't give them the exercise they need on a lead.I love going off into the woods and exploring and that is no fun if you're being dragged around by 3 dogs!Do you think I should drive to the city twice a day to give them a street...
Cant believe some of the posts on here, you say you don't hunt, but everywhere you go there are Deer,
Its not rocket science, find somewhere where there are no Deer,
or keep them on a leash,
end of story sorted.
Someone put photos up of a cracken looking Beddy that works, would do the job, they said the dog was near you, and he is Blue.
You also put the post in the WBF Im sure the Lads on there would help out.
I have been involved with beddy crosses for years, the last thing I would be interested in is colour,
I would be looking for prey drive,
size, what sort of work does he do,
has he been used on whippets before, and if yes, how was the offspring.
Colour would not come in to it.
sorry, Andy is the guy who runs the transporter business, I to am in Scotland and this hopefully will be the way I bring my pup up, these vans are supposed to be adapted for dogs and are air conditioned.
If buying a pup from so far away, you will have built up a rapport with the breeder, you...
I think the question was, does anyone know a dog transporter
I have one don't know if he is still doing it, let me know how you get on, as i have a pup i will need bringing to Scotland, and will be using a Dog transporter
Andy Mob 07787133361 home-01228-537409,
You will get used to it,keep your freezer in a shed or garage, I used to get green tripe straight from the Cow at the local Abattoir sadly shut down, 20 pence a Tripe, I hung it outside at the side of my kennel on a butchers hook, which I fed raw, I also had a boiler outside, and in the winter...
I would only breed off a bitch that was a top class worker, and if your Dog came into this category, why did you not consider putting her to a working whippet, there are some good ones standing at stud, that would have given you Whippet X Suluki X Whippet which would appeal to the working...
You have gained nothing in producing this cross, you would have been far better mating the Suluki Whippet with a working Bedlington, or to a Greyhound, there again it all would depend if the Suluki X Whippet can work,
it appears to me you have just produced a litter of mongrels, sorry to be...
i was a breeder years ago of Bedlington X Whippets, my dogs were well known,
But i never worked a pure whippet.
All the litters of first crosses i bred, i never turned out a smooth coated pup.
