just been out for a mooch with the dog n my lad devon on the lamp for his second time.
he did really well, walked all the fields and not one bit of whinging. trying to find some small bunnies
but all we saw was old big ears so we put the dog on the back of a couple of the long eared rabbits...
had a walk out this afternoon with a friend my lad devon and the dog on my mates new permission.took a few pics. this was mine and devons first ferreting trip and we really enjoyed it even though we came back empty handed but there was alot of evidence of rabbits there

had a look out last nite with the lamp. the bunnies were very thin on the ground as they allways are round here.
anyway got these hard earned bunnies. the big dog made the catches the little ones still watching n learning

Had a lovely walk this morning round fairburn. the weather was absolutley perfect. not too cold just right for a walk.
took some pics at the ings and in the woods. some grand looking land out that way, would love a look out that way but alot of houses just dotted about.

this is what we did on sat nite when it pissed down
just an old pic ov my dog rrok after a nite lamping up northumberland on a friends permission.out of those bunnys he got 12.which wasnt bad i thought as he was only 10 months at the time,but that was enough.the total catch for that nite was 55.

just another practice aat putting them up.the bull terrier is "pebble" who is now
8 1/2 but still acts like a pup when visitors arrive.the whippet thing is "rok" who has just gone 2 .he is mainly used for rabbits and took his 50th last nite.
