I've finally been emailed the pics, they're not very good as friend's camera appears to be awful and he doesn't seem to have noticed that Clover was peeing. Also I look huge because my coat is ridiculously too big for me :b .
SO excited. I haven't hunted properly for about 10 years, the odd day here and there, but probably only about 5 days in those ten years. I bought my horse Clover in January with the intention to hunt him, but discovered that I had completely lost my nerve. I only managed 2 days last season...
Badger came to play today.
Nana was in love- someone else who wants to play and play and play, and she now says she's like to have a Badger to keep please.
Introductions
At first there was a mad whippet only run
Then Badger had to take stock and look handsome for a while
Then Nana...
I try to take all my own photos for my portraits. I go to the person's house and take hundreds of photos, go home and select and edit the best ones.
I used to email people the pics, but sometimes I take too many for this to be practical so recently I have started to upload them onto...
This is Gem.
She is my retired hunter. We have done her best to get her sound and I don't think it'll happen. She is going to a lovely home with a vet who lives about 10 mins away so I can still visit her. She is going to be a wet nurse to throughbred babies, which'll be great as...
We booked our holiday on Mykonos at the last minute, without knowing one of its reputations, so when we hit a beach with rather a lot of interesting (nakes, waxed and male) wildlife I had to take these photos to distract.
There were also some rather pretty day moths
A rather lovely...
OH and I have been in Greece for a week and I took the new camera. It had a lot of use on Delos taking, among other things, the beautiful lizards they have there.
We think these ones are different colour versions of Erhard's wall lizard, but if anone knows better I'd love to be corrected.
Look what just arrived. Lucky, lucky dogs. First Tess pounced into it, then Nana got in. Nana quickly got hot and Esme (who itwas really bought for) got a chance. Tess then got too hot and Esme now has it all to her self.
Thank you so much Debs, it is beautiful :D
Took the girls up to the schooling track today, we were meant to be racing properly there this afternoon but it was cancelled. We thought we might as well take the girls up there for a time trial anyway, and I wanted to try my new camera out there anyway. Here are the results, not great, but...
One of our girls' favourite games is jumping out of wherever you try to leave them. The culprits are Josie and Tess.
I thought I'd take some pics of them as it's quite impressive.
This is over a fence that is higher than a 5 bar gate (w00t) .
This is over the 5 bar.
I was photographing a lovely Dachsie for a portrait today and the owners also had these gorgeous birds, please could someone tell me what breeds they are?
Is this one an orpington maybe?
