Took Woody over to the local gravel pits for a run around in the grass yesterday and he had a great time :) :)
He is 15 weeks old now and growing very fast...
We have had Woody 1 week today (Boxing Day) and he is doing fine, has settled in great with our other Whippets, especially Finlay, who has really taken to him as a play mate :) :)
He is mega confident, nothing seems to phase him and he's not too naughty either - too good to be true really but...
We picked up our new pup this afternoon and here are the first pics of him - he travelled home great and has settled straight in with our 3. He is a very confident little fella and we have called him Woody :) :) He is by ELMANASH AMBASSADOR out of ELMANASH MADEMOISELLE :)
Lucy is now 1 and a week or so and starting to mature into herself a bit (at last!) :- She has been a late maturer but is coming on now, she is long and lean and has needed time to fill out. Here she is with Mum Kiah having a lazy Saturday lounge-around
Went for a walk around the local gravel pits today with our 3 and thought I would try and capture one of the dogs jumping over a small ditch to get back on the footpath.
What I didnt expect was for Lucy to put in such a spring heeled leap - not sure how high she jumped but she nearly jumped off...
Here are a few pics of our Lucy, Zana's sister, with her big brother Finlay in one of their quieter moments :- . Fin is now 8 months and a ball of muscle, a very quick dog who we are really looking forward to racing in 2009 at the HoE club - he shows an incredible amount of speed on his walks...
Here are some pics of our three enjoying a lazy afternoon on the couch today - Finlay, Kiah and Lucy in the pic below and a few below that of Kiah with her pup Lucy, very close those two..
One of Kiah's pup will be returned to us tomorrow - the little blue fawn girl with white trim.
The new owners are saying they "want their old life back" after 3 weeks with her and want to bring her back tomorrow which we are agreeing to them doing. Sounds like the lady of the house is the one...
This was the scene in our lounge yesterday afternoon - it paints a picture of peacefulness doesn't it but there was a reason for it - these lot had been causing havoc for the previous 2 hours and were well and truly tatered LOL. (w00t)
Now we just have the 2 pups they are out and about a lot...
Just the 2 pups remaining now of Kiah's magnificent 7 - our little girl (we are now keeping the girl with the 4 white socks) and one of the boys Kendal who we are keeping with us until he is 10 weeks.
Here are some pics of them taken earlier this afternoon:
Above : Kendall
Kendal sinking...
Here is the last picture of Kiah's "magnificent 7" all together before little Zana is picked up by Ann today - she hasnt arrived as yet but cant be far off now.

They are 5 1/2 weeks old now and becoming right little monkeys!
Here are a few pics taken this evening - Ann's Zana on the right of pics below:
Our littel girl girl below:
Here are a few pics of Kiah's pups at 19 days - eyes now open and ready to take on all comers in a play fight! :D
They are growing pretty quickly now...
Here are Kiah's pups at 11 days old, they are really getting active now and must be twice their birth weight, especially one of the boys who is extra forward compared to the rest. All are doing really well.
Here they all are:
Boy 1 - nicknamed Batman as he has a batman marking on his back...
I stayed up all night last night with these lot to check they were all OK. All doing fine although one of the boys was a concern for a while as he wasnt feeding but he's making up for it now
Here are the "night shift" pics:
Kiah has now only got 10 days until her due date and she is looking pretty big. She was scanned as carrying at least 4 but there may be more, betting currently at 6/4 fav for 6 :D .
Here she is doing what she has been doing for most of the last few weeks - putting her feet up :cheers...
