It seems clear from reading replies to my previous post of 22month old spaniel-lurcher snapping when resting that she has sleep aggression. She is now no longer growling but instantly snapping out to bite whoever is near if she's disturbed. I am trying to clap hands or whistle to awaken her...
My 22month old splurcher Meg has often growled when disturbed from sleep, but she has now began snapping & has bitten me. She is her usual self when walked, full of energy & shows no sign of injury. She's eating well & drinking well. Please can someone advise.

I am looking for advice on my lurcher/spaniel cross who is becoming very possessive and aggressive if anyone approaches (or even talks in her direction) when she has a treat, toy or her food. Any advice on how I can safely train this aggression out of her please
