plummers werent bred primarily as an earth dog but as a ratting dog for which they are superb though some of the working lads do use them as earth dogs though why is beyond me :wacko: get a patterdale or a lakie!
plummer foundation stock wasnt healthy to begin with, leg and hip defects...
well not owning one i wouldnt know but knowing people who do own them id say yes they do have a lot of problems and no just because they can catch a rat doesnt make them defect free sorry :thumbsup:

the reason i make the statement is i know from my friend that plummers are riddled with defects like legge perthes bad hips slipping patellas and tbh ive seen them at game fairs and ive seen judges placing them highly! :thumbsup:

yes the parson is a higher on the leg breed than the average jack russell,the gene pool for parsons is smaller too becaus of the cut off date for registering them

you would have to stress that you were in fear of the dog attacking you.this is what the law says constitutes an offence so if you say you were scared it was going to attack you then they HAVE to take action.if they ignore you go look up the law and the sections under the dogs act and quote it...
