My dog is over weight she weighs 30kg and should be 25kg at the heaviest .I feed her butternut box chicken, they said that she should 475g of food I only give her 370g but she’s not losing anything at all .Butternut box is the only thing she will eat.She is a Romanian rescue 7 years old .

Mine was the same until I tried butternut box and now she eats.

I feed mine butternut box it’s supposed to be better for them mine was so picky would only eat chicken but she always eats this.

It looks as if when you order raw food which is frozen it comes in all different flavours which I am worried might upset her tummy

I must admit she doesn’t get much exercise we both find it an effort , she goes out 3 times a day but only round the field that we have which only takes about 10 minutes each time .

My girl refused to eat dry food even when soaked in hot water so I started to mix a little wet food with it but no luck.So I am now cooking chicken for her to mix with dry food which has given her very loose stools . I don’t know what else to try as she is overweight and I am now 77 I don’t want...

We have adopted a Romanian rescue from Safe Rescue over a year ago as we lost our beautiful girl at the start of lockdown ,as we are getting on we couldn’t have a dog younger than 6 but if you can start with a puppy it’s probably best.
