Would you not consider fluid tablets they do help, with your boy coughing. If you can shift the fluid it will be less strain on his heart. Vedmedin worked well with my boy but he had Dialated Cardiomyopathy. he was not a whippet. I let him do what he wanted run, jump etc. Good luck with your...

Just to add there are 3 silken windhounds which race with the suxxex longdogs, if that is any help.

There are two or three that go racing with the Sussex longdogs. They are just bigger than a collie small greyhound with a Borzois style coat.

Sussex longdogs are a group of people who like to race their dog, be it lurchers, whippets, greyhounds etc. all breeds welcome. They hold the racing every other week. They have their own website which I will paste on here later. Great fun. The dogs love it.

Saturday was a Deerhound fun day + other breeds. Sunday was the BSFA first run. A good time had by all on Saturday, thanks to Nessie for the hard work of organising this. :)

Lovely litter congratulations you must be proud. I have a rehomed son of Krakka, Nevedith Ofa Okay at Dunaruna. He is gorgous. I have owned him since May 2008.

Forgot to say all breeds welcome at Sussex Longdogs. Deerhounds have their own league.
