Good luck with the new-look K9 :luck: Thank you for your email, it reminded me I've not been on here for ages and how good and helpful it always was to a novice whippet servant
Terry, Spooky and Scout!
Good luck with the training :luck:
It does make such a difference, and it's really good fun too. I took Spooky and Scout when they were puppies (not together, there's a 2 year age gap). Spooky wasn't too keen but he's always been a bit of a wimp :clown: , but Scout loved it! So much so...
Have you tried the Blue Cross or the Cats Protection League? They will have plenty of cats looking for homes.
There is a Blue Cross Rehoming centre in Tiverton - (not sure where in Devon you're located).
Good luck with your search :luck:
Terry.
PS - belated Happy Birthday to Pixie :)
I'm sorry to hear Bailey is having these problems.
I don't have any advice, but hopefully the medication will help him with the minimum of side effects. Like you, I'm surprised to hear your vet says this problem affects a lot of whippets - I always thought they were pretty healthy little dogs...
Thank goodness the hackers have been a) discovered and b) sorted out so quickly
There are some disgusting people out there
Back on track now though - good on you all at Scruples
I am so pleased to hear that Paddy and Jo have found their forever sofa at last :)) Sounds like they've really landed on their little paws with their new Mum!
Good luck lovely boys :luck:
And well done to you Fern for being such a great Foster Mum - it must be hard to see them go, but...
I had an interesting walk with Scout this morning.
She pretends to be quite a confident young lady, but does tend to be a bit nervous at times  . We were on one of our regular routes along a very quiet farm track, where we rarely meet anyone. This morning however, the farmer appeared...
I would strongly advise you to contact Scruples Whippet Rescue
www.scrupleswhippetrescue.co.uk
They are doing a wonderful job rehoming whippets, and may also have lists of people waiting to provide fantastic homes for whippets all over the country. This way your friend's dog will...
Just got back from Scout's early morning walk along a public footpath that runs through some fields near us. Guess what? We were attacked by three dogs (border collie crosses). The owner shouted "sorry" as I was trying to keep them away from Scout who was on-lead and screaming. Thankfully she...
I've only come across Cushings in horses before, never dogs, so I can't offer any constructive advice I'm afraid.
Just wanted to send hugs to Stan and you, and of course to the lovely Fred :huggles:
Hope the scan goes ok tomorrow, and that you get some answers :luck: :luck: :luck:
I think they probably are :)) Dad was called Ace (can't remember his kennel name without looking it up) and Mum is Indy, both owned by the same lady. Scout was born in July 2009.
