Hi, Congrats on your pups, if mum is non-dilute ( black masked) then you will be able to get blacks. Also, as black is dominant it can mask brindle. At least that is how I understand it!!

I use a yard stick and a small spirit level. the level is essential as its very easy to be 1/2 inch out either way by eye.

If you are worried then try marrow bones instead. They will really help with the tartar on the teeth. If you go with the wings, then I would hold onto one end the first couple of times to encourage the dog to chew them and not just gulp them down.
