The clip below dates from 1915 and features whippets / whippet racing. I've only recently discovered the British Pathé website and I love it - spent ages searching dog breeds, horses / ponies and places - but then I like old books / photos etc. :b :) Old video footage

I went with Tolvi in the end. Once VAT and delivery was included they were the cheapest. Really pleased :)

Oooo, I might give it a go then - I've noticed that there is a show locally. Getting Rupert to stand up for inspection rather than roll over to have his tummy tickled will be the biggest challenge :lol:

What do you have to do? Is it like pedigree showing - ie. stand dog up, move it on a triangle etc? Does the lurcher (or terrier) have to be a worker to be placed up the line?

Aww, bless. Is she going to ferret rescue? My ferrets used to round up my dogs - they were like mini heelers :D

The brindle has now been sold. Just this little chap left now (I'm hanging on to the other two).

Ooo, I'm near East Dorset, do you hold any activities down this way or in the Forest? I haven't got whippets though - but I'm sure the small lurcher, and the Beddie would have fun.
