    Hi Mark. I have had loads of good advice on this subject and decided to revert to running the dog on her own, from the trap to hopefully get her to concentrate on the lure without any distractions. So far it is working quite well. I will do the same with her next time we go racing and then...

    puppy wanted

    I've heard of that Appache Chief dog. It shows a bit of promise. I've also heard of a little brindle bitch in that East Anglian club, her name is Saucy Madam. Apparently she is developing into a real stunner. Definitely one for the future.

    One of my whippets seems to be developing the knack of chasing the other dogs in a race rather than the lure. Has anyone experienced this problem and if so can you give suggestions on how it can be cured? Many thanks

    Muscle rub

    At whippet racing meetings I have noticed on many occasions that people rub stuff onto the dog's legs and massage them before they run. How useful is it . In fact ,what is it and where would I get it from? many thanks.
