i agree wendy the most i paid was £300 that was 6 years ago it was worth it, i wouldnt mind paying £200 for a maiden dog if i could have a return on a proven bitch,
i agree with you pamela! you want the lines you have to pay and if somebody is having money problems then they shouldnt breed, what if bitch needs a c section and all pups are dead if people ant afford the dogs they have then they shouldnt consider breeding more! putting tin hat on now :-
my post does not infer asking rescues in this case if you re-read it, im sorry i didnt know the circs of the above but in general getting rid of the oldies to make room for youngsters is becoming more common and it makes my blood boil, i juggle work,kids and dogs as well so i know the problems...

whippets were bred to fit in a miners pocket dont even think 16ib racing whippetscould do that now lol as long as we all enjoy our dogs thats all that matters , had we owned bull mastiffs and turned them loose on a bull to prove they were fit for function we would be arrested lol
we have 400 acres here to walk our dogs on ! they get t he odd rabbit and nothing goes to waste! but i know the land here no barbed wire but i dont take them out to kill if they do they do

we all know it happens surely the whippet code of ethics should have more bite refusing membership and entries from such people also with the rule about having gaps between puppies, why cant the breed council all agree to refuse entries at club shows then people might take notice! these prob...
sorry to hear this but has anyone contacted the breeder as if they wernt the ones u dealt with they prob know nothing about this! i have never heard of them and they sound racing bred only presuming with dam and sires names, i had a pup i bred advertised on e pups and they never contacted me but...
