    Dog Insurance Help

Interesting concept, however the idea of an unknown bill each month, especially during a cost of living crises, doesn't still well with me. Appreciate others might have different views, obviously. Also, what happens if a member has a particularly high bill, in the thousands? Can people refuse...

    Vet care too expensive?

It does seem like a licence to print money, it does need reviewing. Our vet was a part of a cluster of 3 or 4 branches, but is now part of a larger group. Interestingly, when Jimmy was diagnosed with cancer, they referred us to a specialist who had a different name above the door, however it...

    Before and After

We took Rusty for his first visit to a groomer yesterday, just for a quick trim around the face/eyes. He didn't enjoy the process and struggled a lot whilst we were with him. The groomer suggested we step out as sometimes that calms the dogs down, so we did, reluctantly. We could here lots of...

    Some Blood from Gums

Didn't do any brushing last night as he visited the groomers for a face trim. He did not like it at all, and was a bit stressed, so we took him to the beach and let him chill out last night. He did get to chew on a bone when we got home through ;-)

    Some Blood from Gums

Thanks both for the replies. From what I can see his gums looks OK to me, no redness, swelling or obvious bleeding. That said, I can't see them all. I'll give gentle brushing another go tonight, if nothing else it'll show if there's any more bleeding. Thanks again.

    Some Blood from Gums

Hi All, Whilst brushing Rusty's teeth the other day - we don't use a toothbrush but one of these and Logic gel - I noticed a couple of smears of blood on my finger. It didn't overly worry me, I just made a mental note to monitor it. Yesterday, I bought him a rope toy which he loved, he ran...

    Dog with prosthetic legs

Wow, what total scum the person is who did that, I wish nothing but bad luck on them. I'm grateful for people like this who go above and beyond to help a fellow resident of our planet :)

    Crufts

I just don't get Crufts. To me, it's just a load of pompous nonsense, but each to their own.

    I have a dilemma...

Reason enough IMHO to sort something out for her. The other bit about the dog being alone at the end is just so upsetting.

    Donny Osmond.

Abracadabra! Yes, they can be expensive, can't they? London, hate the place. Probably not been in 20 years and no plans to go back.

    Little Buckley update

Lovely pics and read! My wife tells me I talk s*** a lot of the time, and I do! I've also had similar conversations like you about talking poo ;-)

    Donny Osmond.

Oh dear, Donny Osmond. My wife likes him/The Osmands, and other stuff from that era like The Bay City Rollers (until I remind her about the drummer). Me? I'm currently listening to a lot of Judas Priest - their new album out next week so far sounds too awesome for words, just like their last...

    I have a dilemma...

Wow, that's a tough one. I suppose in an ideal world she'd come to you but I think your last idea about reversing roles is great. It's so sad to read about a little dog who is now most in need and might have some upheaval ahead, albeit you're doing your best to hep with that.

Anyone have suggestions for tasty toothpaste?

We've used Logic as well :-)
