Jess you did the right thing, you rescued a dog and he is lucky to have some one who is going to help him grow into a lovely boy. Unlike your well to do neighbours who spent hundreds of pounds on a 'pedigree' which is often a designer cross breed these days.

Oh dear ignore my two posts above, I'm new here and have not been on a forum before where the reply 'box' is just there. But usually have to click on 'reply' for the box to appear.

As above .... I'm new here. I have only just become aware of dogforum as a fellow dog lover/friend of mine had commented on a 'Muddy Dogs' thread and for some techy reason, which is a mystery to me, it appeared on my screen. I have two dogs. Louie 40kg lab/boxer/wuss and Millie a 10kg border...
