I agree with 05 whippet, if the breed is a running breed then they should move at a fair pace. I overheard a comment from an Aussie spectator at Crufts this year, she was watching the whippets and couldnt understand why so many people walked with their dogs - then basically repeated the comment...

I have a friend who might have to put their whip in kennels for their hols, they will be away for about 9 days, I have no idea how much this costs as I never use them. Can anybody advise the going rate, is it daily, weekly etc. Many thanks, Nikki
