Just catching up with this thread...so he's about 8 months old now and a big dog, and basically he's like a big teenager. And we know what they are like. You just have to continue with the training and rewarding good behaviour. Use treats to get what you want him to do. Find his favourite toy...
Have you tried one of the mini nail grinders? We used to use it on lady as I hate cutting dog claws (plus one time the vet made her bleed and it put her off)
I know at least one dog owner who flounts the law willy nilly. Have dogs, breed off them then dispose of them when they're no longer breedable or a trendy breed comes along. They don't care about licenses and such, they just want a popular breed.
Well it was going well with the new pup, but my partner slipped on a puppy pad and dislocated her knee. She's out of action for up to 10 weeks. Ironically we got a dog so we could walk more...
