Remember this wee girly, that was gona be PTS,if i hadnt been around to save her from the dreaded needle. She was only to be a brood bitch.Well,we started schooling her with Reni, and Trouble. The idea was to try and build her comfidence,as she had always been round the track with dogs that were faster than her,and had never had the chance to get any comfidence.1st couple of runs with Reni werew tight enough. But as her comfideence grew, she was going by earlier each time, and then going on.We trialed her a few weeks ago,to get her back on her time again, and she qualified nicely.Give her ,her 1st race in our ownership last night, and im delighted to say that she won her 1st ever race. She broke about 3rd,and was in front by the 1st bend.Where she must have thought it was the lurchers behind her again,as it looked that way.Thought it was a nice wee success story, for a bith that was going nowhere fast. There were a few long faces in the stands.Just goes to show what a bit of a comfidence boost can do.Works on kids too folks. So dont be affraid of going that extre mile, when they need a wee push.
