Just to let everyone know that the Saluki x pup and the dad are now out of danger and will be leaving for their new life in scotland on friday

Thankyou to everyone who has helped and supported this rescue.

I have discovered that so many lurchers in N Ireland are destroyed every year and this breaks my heart so I am going to set up a Lurcher Lifeline Appeal to help save, rehome and give a chance to these fantastic dogs. If we cant rehome locally then by getting them across to Scotland/england and to Europe they have a chance. By setting up this appeal I hope to raise the funds to release and transport the dogs across to safety. Will let everyone know about the appeal soon.

Might be an idea to talk to the Northern Ireland whippet rescue people on here, so if they go to see a 'whippet' that turns out to be a lurcher they know who to contact
