We wish to announce the next event of the Venture Sprint Club. It will be a 200m sprint at the Taunton Vale Polo Club using the facilities and permission of West Somerset Whippet Racing Club. Proceeds in aid of West Somerset WRC. The Slipper will be Mel Nichols as usual. Home made refreshments and loos this time! There will be courses for whippets, lurchers and terriers matched for height and age. Entry form is attached to this posting.

The event takes place on 23rd of August. Please arrive by 0930 for first in slips at 1000. Directions on the entry form.

Lets hope we get good weather, and see you there.

What a shame

23rd August clashes with South West Whippet Fun Day and also Buckfastleigh Lurcher show.

Sorry, the date had to fit in with The Polo club, West Somerset WRC calendar , committee members and memnber's holidays, and the slipper's commitments. At this time of year it was going to clash with something! Have a good day which ever event you attend.
