:D We are running this Sunday.

120 yards scratch.

All welcome, anyone wanting to race please book in with Margaret asap.

Please use the back gate (the one that leads directly onto our field, where the club house is)

Can't make it this week Rae. :( Hope that everyone has a fun and injury free days racing down there.

I cannot make it either :(

Hope first time back goes well and dogs running stay injury free

We'll be there  ...... Looking forward to it even if it is in the car  ......

A lovely sunny dry day, not marred at all by the sheep (w00t) . We all had a relaxed days racing and the dogs enjoyed it as much as we did. Great to be back!

Lightweights:

Chase (WCRch Chase the Pied Piper - M Robinson) = 11 points

Ethel (Strikes White Madchick, H Bishop) = 10 points

Tink (Tinky Terror Strikes - H Bishop) = 6 points

Well to Ethel , who at only 10 months old ran her heart out each time, and still had the energy to put the traps away at the end of the day.

Middle Weights:

Boris (Bladerunner, M Robinson) = 11 points

Supe (The Phanton Menace, R Todd) = 10 points

Inca (Stars and Strikes) = 6 points

Heavy Weights:

Dougan (Exmoor Gold, S Meecham) - 12 points

Jacob (Second Strike, H Bishop) = 8 points

Ollie (The Gas, Gwen) = 7 points

Miya (Strike the Pose, H Bishop) = 3

As there were so few of us today, Ethel's schooling was given priority; she's looking good. 8)

Racing again next week - please book in with Margaret. :D

Thanks so much for today ....It was great to be back at Somerset .....Thanks to Margaret helping Theely in her scratch racing to make sure she won :huggles: ....as a baby it was very much appreciated  ....Very pleased with Jacob getting that close to Doogan off weights (not age) ...So maybe Simon was right :D .......Poor Tink ran her heart out, Miya made up the numbers (but loved it) ....and my Inca wasn't disgraced running again off scratch with the youngsters (you never know she may run like that at the 2nd & 3rd champs) ...but then she may not  ......Lovely to see Freda's dedication to the club in turning up just to HELP  .....A great sportswoman ....We'll be back next week ....

Now it looks like we "may" have our van back (w00t) ......Can you please enter for racing .......

Ethel (10 1/2 months old & 19lbs before her puppy allowance) :D

Inca (24lbs now ...only another 3-4 lbs to go  ....but shes a vet at 5 )

Jacob ....Oh No  ...27lbs and 6 years old :D

We'll be trialling Badey Bella Bings (daughter of Bingers) :D ...... May even bring the racing Border Collie as she has to keep fit ready for the Sharkey V's Ellie at the BSFA the following week ...... Hope you're feeling better soon :- " :nuke: :huggles:

Much better thanks - a good nights sleep and definately NO alcohol :b

All entered

Scratch racing means all the dogs start from the same level, there's no allowance for weight. Normally it's 1/2 lb per yard so a 24lb dog would start 1yard ahead of a 25 lb dog for example, but at scratch racing they would both start from the same point.
